About Jean

Roberta Jean Leong, L.Ac. is a licensed primary health care provider who has been continuously licensed since 1985. She is a California licensed acupuncturist with expertise in acupuncture, Chinese herbal remedies, qigong and foods for health.

She is an experienced clinician who is retired from private practice. Her multi-disciplinary clinic was in Pleasant Hill, CA. She sold her offices there in 2007 and relocated to Nevada, where she is semi-retired and teaches part-time. She continues to be interested in using TCM for longevity, infections and autoimmune disorders. She has been a professor at Wongu. She has taught Qigong intermittently since 1993 and been a practitioner since a very young age.

Jean has been teaching qigong in Las Vegas since 2008; she has taught at Montara Meadows, an independent living facility for seniors, and at Barefoot Sancturary, a dance and yoga studio. These courses help people to regain and maintain wellness and are gentle motions suitable even for the elderly.

Jean has also been offering CEU’s to OMD’s and LAc’s. These classes are advanced courses for the clinician who has had at least two years of experience using TCM to treat patients with acupuncture and individualized Chinese herbal remedies. Her most recent courses are offered through elotus.org

Jean is also an author, and her mother’s story is detailed in a biographical novel, Luxuriantly Literate.
